As the newest addition of our board, Kelly Todd is an area local residing just outside of Conway. He attended Horry Georgetown Technical College where he graduated with an Associate’s degree in Business and is currently attending Columbia College, where he will graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business summer 2018. He has been employed by the City of North Myrtle Beach since 2010. He is currently the General Concessions Manager for the City’s Beach Services department. During his time with the City, he along with a skilled staff of management professionals have worked to increase the department’s revenue from 2008 to current by 50%. In addition to business management skills, Kelly takes great pride in his ability to set goals and execute plans to accomplish those goals in the most efficient and effective means possible.
Aside from his career goals, he is passionate about the Buck Creek Foundations endeavors and making this dream become a reality. Kelly’s believes there is a great and growing need for organizations such as the Buck Creek Foundation to help bridge the gap between public and private assistance for those with intellectual disabilities. He believes such organizations can play a vital role in giving those individuals a better quality of life, a greater sense of being, and the essential skills not taught by the public education system to help those individuals transition into the workforce with the ability to be confident in not only themselves but their work ability.
